Every semester, my law faculty sends an e-mail reminder to students who are applying to graduate in the next semester. The first time I received this e-mail, I was 3 months into my degree and I was in serious doubt about finishing the semester, let alone one day graduating. But as the years passed, these e-mails became a familiar sight in my inbox and their appearance no longer reduced me into a crying, hysterical mess.
