When I was in high school, I rolled my eyes when the careers counsellor told my grade that we could expect to change careers at least five times in our lives. These days I’m wondering if two career changes in the space of a year is in any way acceptable.

Osmosis is about the only thing I remember from high school biology, and it’s probably because I loved the fanciful idea that I could just put a textbook under my pillow at night then all the knowledge it contained would just seep into my brain.

Exam time calls for a slightly different approach to study group. In week three it was fine to spend study group time talking about lecturers and complaining about that annoying guy that sits at the front of the class, but with only a few weeks left to go before exams, it’s time to get results.
