Exam time calls for a slightly different approach to study group. In week three it was fine to spend study group time talking about lecturers and complaining about that annoying guy that sits at the front of the class, but with only a few weeks left to go before exams, it’s time to get results.

Take home exams have to be my least favourite assessment type. Mostly it’s because they turn your home into an exam room. That said, any exam that you can do in your pyjamas doesn’t have to be the worst experience of your academic career.

These students generally have many responsibilities and an existing career to juggle alongside their new area of study. Although an off campus attendance mode allows many to pursue extra study, it’s not without its disadvantages.
