Gold trophy

Sydney Law School is celebrating after successfully defending its title in the Nicholas Cowdery Criminal Law Moot.

Students Eric Shi, Thomas Farmakis and India O’Neill defeated a team from UTS on Thursday last week to take home the trophy for the second year in a row.

Former New South Wales Director of Public Prosecutions and the competition’s namesake Nicholas Cowdery QC judged this year’s competition with the Hon Justice Elizabeth Fullerton.

Now in its third year, the Cowdery Moot is an annual competition between UTS and the University of Sydney.
