A typical mooting competition sees universities pitted against each other, but a new mooting program between Monash University and the University of Warwick in the UK breaks the mould.
The first Monash Warwick Alliance International Collaborative Moot involves two teams, each containing a mix of Monash and Warwick law students.
"Moots are generally combative in approach, however this Monash Warwick Alliance moot will focus on cross-border teamwork to build the communication and advocacy skills of the students involved,” said Monash Law Students’ Society President Tim Rankin.
Until earlier this week, the teams had been preparing online but are now prepping together in person ahead of the competition on Friday.
