Thomsons Lawyers and Herbert Geer Announce Merger

Australian law firms Thomsons Lawyers and Herbert Geer have merged, the two firms announced on Monday.

The new firm, Thomson Geer Lawyers, has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. With 80 partners and 250+ lawyers, it’s now one of the top 15 firms in Australia by size.

Last year Norton Rose merged with US law firm Fulbright & Jaworski LLP to become Norton Rose Fulbright, and King & Wood Mallesons merged with UK firm SJ Berwin.
