UQ Wins Jessup Moot

The University of Queensland is celebrating after winning the 55th annual Jessup International Moot in Washington D.C on Sunday.

Students Emily Chalk, Camille Boileau, Hugo Clark-Ryan, Abbey Mawby and Lisa Lee defeated the team from Singapore Management University to secure UQ’s second Jessup title. Singapore Management University was also the runner up at last year’s competition.

Six hundred mooting teams from 85 countries participated in this year’s competition. Australia was also represented in this year’s international rounds by UWA.
