UWA Wins Kirby Contract Law Moot

Kirby contract winners

The University of Western Australia is celebrating after its team took out the fourth annual Michael Kirby Contract Law Moot.

Held at Victoria University, 26 teams from 17 universities took part in this year’s competition.

The University of Western Australia defeated Bond University by only one point to take out the grand final, which was judged by Chief Justice Marilyn Warren of the Supreme Court of Victoria. Sam Pack, Chris Burch, Yvonne Yap and Ciara O'Loughlin represented UWA, and Maddy Clifford, Gary King, Lara Sveinsson and Sam Cross represented Bond.
