Bond Uni takes out D.M. Harish Moot

Comp winners

A team from Bond University has won out India’s biggest mooting competition. Law students Sara Trainor and Indhia Duncan won the D.M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Moot Court Competition in Bombay last weekend. Ms Trainor was also named best advocate of the competition.

The team was supported by fellow student Chantal McNaught. Ms McNaught placed third in the “researcher’s test” – an element unique to the competition.

The D.M. Harish Moot is Bond’s fourth big win on the international mooting circuit in the past year, with the law school also taking out The Hague’s International Criminal Court Trial Competition, the Willem C. Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Hong Kong), and the Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) Wanhuida Cup Moot Court Competition.
